A Brief Company History …

2004 – 12th September CQI Internet Solutions Pty Ltd trading as Moving ON Training commenced operations with the vision of delivering job relevant online education to residential care staff and provide residential services with cost effective, equitable, consistent and quality ongoing education to meet the requirements for accreditation.     Our first program consisted of 13 residential care online modules.

2007 – The “Contemporary Ageing Series” was launched to provide registered and enrolled nurses with in-depth ongoing professional development about issues and illnesses affecting older people.The series includes: Elder Abuse, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Older People, Medication Management.

2008 – A program of 23 online education modules was developed in response to the community standards across the various community care programs including HACC, CAPS, NRCP, EACH, EACHD.

2009 – We commenced development of a range of online resources in response to the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council draft criteria for continuing professional development for registered nurses and in preparation for the introduction of national registration for registered and enrolled nurses.

2010/2011 – ACLS develops an online solution to assist registered and enrolled nurses to meet their CPD requirements for national registration:
-50 plus online CPD activities
- An annual learning plan
- Annual learning needs analysis
- Reflection evaluation for each CPD activity
- Electronic transcript of CPD activity. 
The “Contemporary Ageing Series” was renamed the CPD library. The library currently contains 52 CPD activities.

2011 – 1st December – Aged Care Learning Solutions partnered with the Australian Nursing Federation. The ANF Aged Care Training Room was established to provide ANF members and non –members access to aged care specific continuing professional development.    The ACLS Community Program was updated in response to the introduction of the Community Care Common Standards.

2012 – 14th December – Trading name changed from Moving ON Training to Aged Care Learning Solutions
-Total learner module enrolments 200,000
-Launch of our new name and website
