The continuing difficulties for home care nurses and carers

One of the many challenges our nurses and carers face on a daily basis is isolation. They often work independently, sovaldi with little guidance or support, recipe it can be difficult in these situations to gain additional knowledge and resources for ongoing training and education requirements.

In July 2015 the Commonwealth Home Support Program will begin. A major change to help older people stay independent and in their homes and communities for longer.

There will be an increased need for aged care home care workers in Australia and therefore ongoing support and training is required to ensure our nurses and carers are equip with the knowledge and skills to maintain the highest quality of care for our elderly.

World Diabetes Day

World Diabetes Day (WDD) was on the 14^th of November 2014, sovaldi the World Diabetes Day is lead by the International Diabetes Federation to communicate and raise awareness about diabetes Internationally.

The theme this year for WDD is Healthy Living and Diabetes, the theme continues from 2014-2016 across 160 countries and territories. This year marks the first of the three-year campaign focusing on activities and materials that will specifically address the topic of healthy eating and it’s importance both in prevention of type 2 diabetes and the effective management of diabetes to avoid complications.
